About

We are a group of bioinformaticians that decided to form a coding club where we discuss articles, pipeline/software design, bioinformatics algorithms, do code reviews, etc. Our main goal is to become better bioinformaticians together.

We are all part of the center for the Department of Infectieziekteonderzoek, Diagnostiek en laboratorium Surveillance of the RIVM.

Fabian

Fabian is an experienced laboratory technician who is learning how to program (very fast so far!). He knows a lot about long-read sequencing.

Varisha

Varisha recently graduated from A.I. and she works mainly for the Antimicrobial Resistance group.

Roxanne

Roxanne recently graduated in bioinformatics and now works at the IDS as a bioinformatician working mainly in bacteria-related projects.

Alejandra

Alejandra has a PhD in Biology and works now as a bioinformatician and project manager at the IDS.
